Refund Policy

Puppetry is a product of ELBO AI Inc. ("Puppetry," "we," "us"). This page describes when and how we issue refunds for paid subscriptions and one-time credit purchases on puppetry.com.
1. 7-day money-back guarantee
Every paid Puppetry subscription comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund of the most recent subscription charge within 7 calendar days of that charge.
To request a refund, email support@puppetry.com from the address on your Puppetry account. Include your account email and the date of the charge you would like refunded. We process refund requests within 2 business days. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
You do not need to provide a reason. We will refund the charge in full.
2. What is covered
The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to:
- New monthly subscription charges (Starter, Creator, Studio plans)
- New annual subscription charges
- The first charge after a free trial converts to a paid plan
The 7-day window begins on the date the charge appears in your billing.
3. What is not covered
The following are non-refundable except where required by applicable law:
- Subscription renewal charges that occur more than 7 days after the original purchase. To stop renewals, cancel your subscription before the next renewal date (see section 5).
- Pay-as-you-go credit packs and one-time credit purchases, once any of those credits have been used. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase.
- Lifetime deals or AppSumo / Founding Supporter purchases, which follow their own marketplace refund terms (see your purchase confirmation email).
- Charges older than 7 days, unless your local consumer-protection law requires otherwise (for example, EU/UK/Australia statutory cooling-off rights).
4. Lifetime deals, AppSumo, and Founding Supporter
If you bought a Puppetry lifetime deal, AppSumo plan, or Founding Supporter plan, your refund window is governed by the marketplace or campaign terms shown at checkout. AppSumo customers should request refunds through the AppSumo dashboard. Founding Supporter customers should email support@puppetry.com and we will follow the campaign terms shared at sign-up.
5. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard at https://www.puppetry.com/dashboard, under Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to your paid features until the end of that period.
If you have trouble cancelling, email support@puppetry.com and we will cancel for you.
6. Failed payments and disputed charges
If a renewal payment fails, we will retry the charge a small number of times before suspending paid features. We do not charge late fees.
If you do not recognise a charge from Puppetry, please email support@puppetry.com before disputing the charge with your bank. We respond to all support emails within 1 business day and can usually resolve billing questions much faster than a chargeback. Going through your bank typically takes 30-90 days; emailing us takes minutes.
When a customer files a chargeback for a charge we have evidence was authorised and used (logged-in account, paid plan, generated videos, delivery confirmation emails to the same address), we will submit that evidence to the card network. If you have a legitimate billing concern, email us first and we will refund or credit your account if appropriate.
7. EU/UK/Australia statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Australia, you may have additional refund rights under your local consumer-protection laws (for example, the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, or Australian Consumer Law). Nothing in this policy limits or removes those statutory rights.
Where a statutory cooling-off period applies and you have started using the service within that period, you acknowledge that supply of the digital service has begun, which may affect cooling-off rights for content already generated.
